Zimbara

Overview

Zimbara is a self-catering guest house in the Bayete Collection, on Mahogany Road in a quiet suburb of Victoria Falls. It is a short taxi ride, or a walk of under three kilometres, from the waterfall. A small shop is nearby. There are four units. Each has two bedrooms that share one bathroom, plus a kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. Rooms have air conditioning, mosquito nets and international plug points. You look onto a pool and garden. Housekeeping is daily. A washing machine is available, and you bring your own soap and toiletries. Someone from the team meets you on arrival and is then on call, rather than on site all day. Mike and Alex Johnson also run Bayete Guest Lodge, which is a different property already on this site. The collection's office address is not this house.
